In conjunction with the Royal New Zealand Navy, Devonport Yacht Club, Bucklands Beach Yacht Club and the NZ Multihull Yacht Club
1.0 Rules
1.1 The Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta will be governed by the "rules" as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing 2009-2012.
1.2 The Yachting New Zealand (YNZ) Safety Regulations Part I shall apply to
unballasted centreboard boats, open boats and Sailboards.
1.3 The YNZ Safety Regulations Part II Category 5 shall apply to keelboats and
multihulls with the exception of the Passage Races where Category 4 shall apply.
1.4 The YNZ Safety Regulations Part V Category C shall apply to trailer
yachts.
1.5 The YNZ Sport Boat Regulations shall apply to sports boats.
1.6 Appendix E shall apply to boats entered in events 5.9, 5.10 and 5.11
1.7 The Organising Authority may require boats to display event sponsors advertising
in accordance with Appendix 1 Regulation 20.3.1(d).
1.8 Tall Ships and Waka to comply with Maritime NZ Rules and Regulations
1.9 Waka entrants shall provide a Safety Boat for Event W8
2.0 Changes to Racing Rules
2.1 Any changes to the rules will be set out in the Sailing Instructions applicable to the venue hosting an event
3.0 Racing Pennants
All keelboat, multihulls over 6m & trailer yacht competitors shall fly a backstay divisional racing pennant as listed
