The Ports of Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta Prizegiving is a truly special evening. The trophy collection dates back to the 1860s and as a winner, your name will become an important part of boating history.

Prizegiving
Prizegiving will be held on 19th February 2019 at the RNZYS, commencing at 18:30.
Date: Tuesday 19 February 2019
Venue: Royal NZ Yacht Squadron
Time: 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start
Cash Bar and complimentary finger food
A showcase of trophies, worth nearly $100,000, are awarded at the prizegiving of the Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta and are on permanent display at the Maritime Museum in the Viaduct. When you win a cup, your name is engraved on it and you become a part of nautical history, forever.
Hundreds of dollars are given away in prize money, and a fantastic line up of spot prizes from our generous regatta sponsors.
CASH PRIZES: We are delighted to confirm that cash prizes will be awarded but skippers must be present to claim cash prizes unless residing 50km from the Royal NZ Yacht Squadron and unable to attend the Prizegiving in which case prize funds will be transferred online to the winning skippers bank account.
If you are an 'out of town' skipper (50km from RNZYS) please let us know before the Prizegiving if you are unable to attend - 0800-REGATTA or admin@regatta.org.nz
SPOT PRIZES: These will be drawn on the night and all skippers are eligible to have their names in the hat ON CONDITION you rsvp that you will be attending the Prizegiving and be present - ‘all' skippers means every one of you who paid an entry fee and competed, regardless of place on the day. Spot prizes will be redrawn if the winning skipper is not present.
